Zarr Marketing (est. 2008) is the first-born child of Founder Zoe Carr. After eight years of working ‘agency side’, Zoe moved to an in-house senior marketing role for several years before establishing Zarr. While working in-house, Zoe identified the need for a boutique marketing agency that could deliver smart, creative ideas which extended ‘through-the-line’. Creating impactful brand engagement with consumers via on-ground activations and experiential marketing was the aim. Four years down the track, the challenge has been met, as Zarr continues to attract a smart, trustworthy and experienced team of marketing and events experts who deliver on brand campaigns that achieve excellent results for our clients.

Michelle Tinsley

Senior Consultant

With a love of writing lists and ideas from an early age, Michelle knew she was destined for a career involving organisational management. Michelle started her marketing career writing sentiments in greeting cards, then moved to product brochures and point-of-sale for more than seven years in-house, before jumping ship to the marketing and events agency world. Managing seamless operations in consumer promotions, events and integrated marketing campaigns, Michelle's love affair with all things account service and creative development has kept her focus over the past six years.

Emma Henry

Senior Consultant

Emma was lured by the excitement and creativity of the ad agency world. For over 15 years she has worked in client service predominantly with FMCG clients focusing on campaign development, PR/communications, print production and producing television commercials. This experience eventually took her overseas where she set up the company’s Canadian office and launched a new branded advertising concept. Emma started working with the team at Zarr Marketing in 2009 and has managed many of the agency’s ongoing PR editorial campaigns with national magazine titles. Emma also manages client consumer promotions and on-ground events.

Rex Lightfoot

Graphic Artist

Officially colouring-in for the past 30 years, Rex initially began his career in advertising. He now spends time helping to make a great Zarr idea look even better and providing graphic design and production support for Zarr clients.

Dan Brown

Group Account Director

Dan's passion is "finding balance" both in the workplace and personally. Prior to joining Zarr, Dan worked in the retail and telecommunications arena for 15 years, managing fashion launches and sponsorships, launching the first B2B e-commerce hub in Australia, overseeing product development, and managing some of Australia's largest corporate brands. Dan has two young children and a husband that she adores. Spending time with them, learning from each other and having fun together is something she is eternally grateful for. You will often find Dan on her yoga mat!

Jennifer Fleming

Account Manager

If Zarr Marketing is the first born of its founder, then Jennie is the midwife who was on board from the very beginning. Jennie’s career kicked off in the retail sector, specialising in managing point-of-sale for one of Australia’s largest retailers. She progressed into marketing services for a major brands wholesaler and joined Zarr Marketing when it opened its doors in 2008. During the past four years whilst working at Zarr, Jennie’s client service has expanded into managing major sponsorship leverage programs, trade presentations, product launches and broader marketing/communications programs.

Rebecca Thomson

Account Executive

On completion of her tertiary education, Rebecca tried her hand in a couple of very diverse industries, putting her newly acquired skills to the test. After a short time she realised her real passion was marketing. Organising product conferences, trade shows, advertising material and client activity days were the main areas of Rebecca’s introduction to marketing consulting. It wasn't until three years later she stumbled into the agency lifestyle. At Zarr Marketing Rebecca's time has been a blur of exciting activations, sponsorship events, customer relations exercises and PR campaigns.
